This Mexican single origin is grown in Biosfera del Triunfo.
Siltepec is close to the equator, benefiting from year round hot weather which allows the coffee to be farmed at high altitudes in much the same way as coffee is produced in the more famous coffee destinations.
The coffee is shade grown, craft de-pulped, fermented, washed, then sun dried. The cup starts with dark chocolatey notes, a round body and caramel flavour finished off with fruity orange notes.
With a Q score of 84, this is a fantastic speciality coffee.
